Thales Alenia Space SpainPromise
In its 30 years of Space Heritage from its creation, Thales Alenia Space España has participated in over 350 Satellite Programs worldwide. TAS España participates in all market segments, such as: Science & Earth Observation: TAS España is competence centre for medium resolution optical payloads within the group, being heavily involved in the Ingenio, Sentinel 3 and Meteosat Third Generation satellites thus providing us with a solid backlog to build upon our earth observation capabilities. TAS España is a traditional supplier of TT&C and Digital units for main worldwide space agencies science and observation space programs; Navigation: TAS España was in charge of the development and supply of the S-Band Dual Mode TT&C Subsystems and the Clock Monitoring and Control Units (CMCU) for the four GalileoSat In Orbit Validation (IOV) Phase Satellites; Space Infrastructure: A remarkable Thales Alenia Space España’s achievement is the family of Spread Spectrum Transponders developed and delivered (Phase C/D) for the ATV Program both for the TDRSS and Proximity Links. They have been certified by NASA as TDRSS compatible and constitute a first in Europe and an alternative to the American manufacturers; Telecommunications: Thales Alenia Space España has been strongly involved in more than 80 telecom Commercial and Military Satellites programs world-wide including TT&C Equipment and Subsystems, Passive RF payload equipment and Digital Processing Units. Thales Alenia Space España presents a sound position as telecommunication systems designer. More specifically, TASE has specialized in next generation IP-based satellite communication systems using On Board Processing.
Menta is a provider of embedded FPGA (eFPGA) IPs. These allow to hardware re-program the ASIC/SoCs that embedd them as many times as desired after production. Menta eFPGA IPs have the specificities to be easily ported to any technology node and be radiation hardened by design, thanks to their 100% standard cells based architecture. Menta, located in Sophia Antipolis, France, was created in 2007. The company is focusing solely on eFPGA IPs and the production of the EDA software necessary to program the IP. Menta has developed its own software, from synthesis to bitstream generation, called Origami Programmer. Menta is active in the fields of Aerospace; Automotive, Internet of things, Artificial Intelligence and intensive computing for data centers and communication.

IMEC, Europe’s largest independent micro-electronics research center, founded in 1984 by the Flemish Government, is one of the largest in the world in the field of microelectronics. Its leading role in Europe has been increased after the successful merger with iMinds, which was completed in September 2016. The renewed imec organization now brings together nearly 3,500 researchers from all over the world, to make the impossible possible in many application areas. It has access to a unique infrastructure, including 12,000 m2 of cleanrooms with the most advanced equipment for research into next-generation IC technologies, and state-of-the-art bio, network and imaging labs. And, of course, an extensive network of local and international industrial and university partners for intensive collaboration. IMEC performs scientific research which runs 3 to 10 years ahead of industrial needs. The most important scientific activities are concentrated on the development of new process technologies for the next generation of chips, optoelectronic components, microsystems, solar cells, sensors… In addition, work is oriented towards new design technologies for electronic systems (such as the design of complete systems on a single chip), with a special focus to telecommunications and multimedia. IMEC performs education and training of experts in the field of microelectronics through its microelectronics training center. Many training courses are organized annually in the field of chip design, process technology and related domains.
Integrated Systems Development S.A. (ISD) is an independent organization established in Greece in 1998 (http://www.isd.gr).
